My name is Jessica Luhrs and I am the owner of Modern Efficiency, an engineering process and business consulting company. I graduated from the University of San Diego with a dual degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, which is where I got my first taste of process improvement methodologies. After graduating, I began my career as a Manufacturing Engineer working as a civilian for the Navy where my primary focus was establishing and improving machining processes for flight-critical aerospace components. It was at this time in my life when my passion for process improvement was truly ignited, and I knew I had found what I was meant to do. I became addicted with finding solutions to any problem I could get my hands on. I continued to elevate my career until I was promoted to a lead quality engineer position. At this point, I knew that while I was bringing strong value to my company, I wanted to branch out and do it for multiple companies, both large and small businesses alike, across all sectors. I decided then to move back to Scottsdale to start Modern Efficiency, where as a 5th generation Arizona native, I know businesses thrive.
